2. Hosting and infrastructure

This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., USA. Domain and DNS management is handled via SiteGround. When the website is accessed, Netlify automatically creates server log files. The following data may be technically processed: IP address, date and time of access, requested URL, browser type and user agent, and further technical connection data.

The purpose of this processing is the secure and stable operation of the website, error analysis and protection against misuse. Log files are deleted or anonymised after a short period. Privacy notice for Netlify: www.netlify.com/privacy

3. Netlify Web Analytics

This website uses Netlify Web Analytics. This is a server-side analysis based on Netlify's CDN server logs. No analytics script is executed on your device and no analytics cookies are set.

Netlify may evaluate the following information, among other things: page views, pages visited, traffic sources (referrers), approximate geographic locations, 404 errors, bandwidth usage, and approximate unique visitors identified by differing IP addresses.

The purpose is the technical optimisation, security and improvement of the usability of this website. The legal basis for visitors from the EU is the legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Where the Swiss Data Protection Act (DSG) applies, processing is based on a prevailing legitimate interest.

4. Getting in touch

When you contact me via one of the available channels, the contact and communication data you provide is processed to handle your enquiry. Depending on the channel chosen, the respective providers may process data:

Calendly, WhatsApp and LinkedIn are only linked on this website and are opened only after an active click. No data is transferred from this website to these services before you click.

5. Cookies and tracking

This website currently sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Netlify Web Analytics operates server-side and sets no analytics cookies on this website. Netlify Real User Monitoring, Google Analytics and Meta Pixel are not used. Calendly, WhatsApp and LinkedIn are exclusively linked and are opened only after an active click. No cookie consent banner is therefore built in under the current technical configuration. If consent-requiring cookies, embedded content or tracking technologies are introduced in future, this privacy policy will be updated and, where required, consent will be obtained in advance.

No automated decision-making or profiling takes place.

6. Payment processing

Invoices are settled by bank transfer. I process the details required for this (e.g. name and invoicing data) solely to handle the payment and do not pass them on to third parties, apart from the technical processing through the respective bank.

Netlify, Inc. and the other external providers mentioned may transfer or process data in the USA or other third countries. Please refer to the respective privacy notices of these providers for further details. No unconfirmed guarantees regarding certifications or specific contractual mechanisms are made.
